Plainfield Police responded to a reported altercation on New Year's Day involving two masked individuals with knives around North Chestnut Street.

Plainfield police say they are investigating after two masked individuals armed with knives on North Chestnut Street threatened a 15-year-old girl.

A 15-year-old girl was threatened with a knife on Jan. 1 in Plainfield, according to police. The incident happened at around 4 a.m. on New Years Day. Officers arrived to the scene in the area of North Chestnut Street to find that two masked individuals with knives removed a 15-year-old girl
