The Nifty 500 Index is a broader index, representing various sectors and large-cap, mid-cap, and small-cap companies. The SBI Nifty 500 Index Fund would primarily invest a minimum of 95% and a maximum of 100% of its assets in stocks comprising the Nifty 500 Index.

While SBI Nifty 500 Index Fund has been designed to replicate the Nifty 500 Index, Kotak NIFTY Midcap 150 Momentum 50 Index Fund would track the performance of the NIFTY Midcap 150 Momentum 50 Index.

SBI Mutual Fund introduces the SBI Nifty 500 Index Fund, offering investors a single investment solution to access the entire spectrum of the Indian equity market, tracking the top 500 stocks by market capitalization.

SBI Mutual Fund is launching NFO under its “Index Fund”, named as SBI Nifty 500 Index Fund. The open ended fund aims to provide investment returns that commensurate to the total returns of the securities as represented by the Nifty 500 Index before expenses.

Index funds, such as the Nifty 500, are passively managed and seek to replicate the performance of the underlying index.

The scheme will invest in Nifty 500 Momentum 50 Index, Equity Derivatives, cash equivalents and money market instruments.
