The Life of Chuck’ actor said the late actress “was someone that sort of put” his legacy with the franchise “in perspective for me.”

Despite Star Wars' enormous success, Mark Hamill was initially reluctant to embrace his newfound fame, but Carrie Fisher gave him a new perspective.

"So she was someone that sort of put it in perspective for me," he admits of the late Fisher, who died in 2016.
