Venezuelan Little League Team Denied Entry To World Series

It was sadly announced Saturday that a Little League team was denied entry for this year's Senior League Baseball World Series. Unfortunately, the Cacique Mara Little League team from Venezuela won't be able to compete because they were "unable to obtain the appropriate visas.
The last international bracket team outside of North America to secure a berth in the series was from Brno, Czechia, which makes its third straight appearance. The Czechs defeated a team from Madrid, Spain, 3-2, to win the Africa and Europe Region. There will not be a team from Cuba in the world series for the first time in two years.
