The remains of a woman known as "Falls Road Jane Doe" — found in a wooded area nearly 30 years ago — have been identified.
"With DNA Labs International, the deceased woman was identified earlier this month as 20-year-old Leoria Smith," said Cpl.
Leoria Smith, aged 20 at the time, disappeared in 1984, police said. Investigators learned Smith has a surviving daughter and granddaughter.
