Charles Leclerc has refuted claims that there is tension between himself and team-mate Lewis Hamilton after reports emerged stating that the Monegasque racer has told his boss, Fred Vasseur, that he wants to go in a different set-up direction than the Brit.

Hamilton qualified almost a second behind polesitter Oscar Piastri and six tenths behind Ferrari teammate Charles Leclerc.
