NASA and SpaceX successfully launched the Crew-11 mission from Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Friday, and the spacecraft is now en route to the International Space Station (ISS).

The four-person crew, who launched a day late due to weather, will relieve members of the previous SpaceX mission onboard the station.

On SpaceX launched its 11th crew rotation for NASA. The four will spend six to eight months on the International Space Station.

SpaceX's next launch attempt from Kennedy Space Center is Friday at 11:43 a.m. (ET), although the weather forecast is less favorable.
