Israel bombarded Hezbollah targets in south Lebanon on Friday after intercepting a rocket fired from its northern neighbour, the Israeli military said, although the Iranian-backed militant group denied involvement in the incident.

Israel Katz issued a threat to Hezbollah, as he has done many times before. This time, however, the threat was not empty.

Israel's strike on Beirut Friday came hours after two rockets were fired from Lebanon toward Israel. Hezbollah denied it had launched them.
