Tessa Thompson will present the first ever Golden Globe prize for documentary during the Cannes Film Festival.

On Wednesday, the Golden State Warriors were eliminated by the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 5 of the Western Conference semifinals. Without their best player, Stephen Curry, the Warriors couldn’t force a Game 6.

Prior to the elimination game, Golden State sent out a three-word message on X. "For The Bay," the post read. In Game 4, the Warriors lost by a final score of 117-110. Jonathan Kuminga came off the bench to score 23 points to lead the way for Golden State. No one else had a big game alongside him.

The Minnesota Timberwolves are up 3-1 entering a Game 5 Western Conference semifinals matchup with the Golden State Warriors.

The Golden State Valkyries host the Los Angeles Sparks for the season opener. Friday's meeting is the first this season between the teams.
