The Florida Atlantic University Presidential Search Committee has recommended three finalists for the University’s presidency. The first finalist is Michael Hartline, Ph.D., who is currently the dean of the College of Business at Florida State University.

They are Michael Hartline, dean of the business school at Florida State University; Adam Hasner, a former Republican state legislator; John Volin, executive vice president for academic affairs at the University of Maine. Hartline was a finalist in the first search, which the Board of Governors ended in late 2023 after alleging policy violations.
