The fire happened just before 3 a.m. on Saturday at a building on 48th Avenue between 47th Street and 48th Street.

Fire crews fought a blaze at a six-story building late Friday night in Grand Concourse. Officials say it began on the second floor of the building between Anthony Avenue and East 182nd Street.
