The Toronto Blue Jays have not had much success in free agency, but there are still valuable players available for them to sign. A future Hall of Famer could be in play for them.

For most of his 19-year MLB career, starting pitcher Justin Verlander has pitched in the American League. Verlander spent most of his career with the Detroit Tigers and Houston Astros, but the 42-year-old will be National League bound for the 2025 season.

The Atlanta Braves have lost both Max Fried and Charlie Morton in free agency. They also expect to be without Spencer Strider to start the season. They could make a move for a future Hall of Famer before the season starts.
