Five Mid-Columbia fire recruits fought the Rowena Fire hours before their graduation, helping protect homes and the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center.

Three people were arrested late Saturday and early Sunday after the Portland Police Bureau declared a riot near the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement building.
