Cleveland Guardians All-Star José Ramírez jammed his right wrist while attempting to steal a base in the third inning against the Kansas City Royals and later left the game.

Cleveland Guardians third baseman Jose Ramirez exited Saturday's game against the Kansas City Royals with a sprained right wrist. The six-time All-Star was injured while being caught stealing in the third inning. He dove in head first in an awkward manner and the hand hit the dirt hard.

Ramirez sprained his wrist sliding into second base on an attempted steal Saturday against the Kansas City Royals. He stayed in the game until the sixth inning when his hand came off the bat awkwardly following a swing. Ramirez left in the sixth inning of a game the Guardians ultimately lost by a run, 4-3.
