Washington’s regional airport was closed after the crash that apparently took the lives of 67 people. The DC airport is reopening at 11 a.m.
"My flight was scheduled to touch down at 8:55, and that incident was at 8:53, we were following them into runway 33 at DC National Reagan, so I'm feeling like I was within two minutes of... death." ...
There were no survivors in the accident, which happened as a regional passenger jet was attempting to land just before 9 p.m. EST Wednesday at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.
