The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer returns this spring, featuring hosts Alison Hammond and Noel Fielding alongside judge Paul Hollywood —and a surprise temporary replacement for Leith. The 84-year-old baking expert previously announced she would be stepping back from the specials due to the intense filming schedule.

Prue Leith ’s replacement on the forthcoming special of Great British Bake Off has been revealed. The restaurateur, 84, has been a part of the much-loved baking programme since its move from the BBC to Channel 4 in 2017, replacing the expert role formerly held by Mary Berry.

Also taking part in this year’s Celebrity Bake Off for SU2C are actresses Maxine Peake, Gbemisola Ikumelo and Meera Syal; comedians Adam Buxton, Jamali Maddix, Tommy Tiernan, Phil Wang and Sophie Willan; and TV stars and presenters Gloria Hunniford, Scarlette and Stuart Douglas, Chris and Rosie Ramsey, and Roman Kemp.
