Dallas rapper and hip-hop star BigXthaPlug is facing more legal trouble after being arrested Thursday night ahead of his new album release on Friday.BigXthaPlug, born Xavier Landum, was released from the Dallas County Jail late Friday afternoon on drug and weapons charges.

Texas-based rapper BigXthaPlug, also known as Xavier Landum, 27, has been arrested and is in police custody on the day of his "I Hope You're Happy" album release.

The album release party will be held from 10 p.m. to midnight at a WingStop to be disclosed on the company’s social media later today. For a chance at listening to the album alongside BigX, fans must show a receipt with a buy-one-get-one chicken tender order from WingStop.
