A rock band is postponing an Upstate New York concert and canceling several other tour dates as they mourn a “profound loss.” Pantera announced Friday that it is changing its schedule to grieve the death of Ozzy Osbourne. The legendary Black Sabbath singer, who influenced metal bands like Pantera, died Tuesday at age 76.

That made him one of 27 artists to be honored more than once (he entered with Black Sabbath during 2006) and was also the beginning of a triumphant final chapter that led to the Back to the Beginning farewell concert on July 5,
Tuesday night, metal band Pantera fans at Riverbend and throughout our region remember what Ozzy meant to them. "It's like how outrageous can you be, and he kind of set the standard for that," Michael Shuter, assistant manager at Everybodys Records in Pleasant Ridge, said.
