NASA appears to be walking back its pledge to land the first woman and person of color on the moon with the agency's Artemis Program.

U.S. President Donald Trump's campaign to eliminate diversity efforts and language from government organizations has officially reached the moon, with NASA erasing references to its promise to land the first woman and first person of colour on there from several of its web pages.

DEI order, the space agency has removed a promise to send the "the first woman, first person of color" to walk on the moon aboard the Artemis III mission.
