The NFL is listening to its fans, its teams and its players when it comes to uniforms. On Monday at the annual league meetings, the league informed NFL team owners that their clubs could wear their throwback or alternate jerseys up to four times in a 17-game regular season.

Could we see an extra Seattle Seahawks throwback uniform game starting in 2025? Maybe not this season, but the possibility exists following the NFL’s decision to revise its uniform policy at the recently completed league meeting in Florida.

Fox Sports' Jordan Schultz reported Monday the NFL is altering its uniform policy to allow teams to wear their throwback and alternate jerseys more often in the future. The new policy will permit teams to wear such uniforms up to four times throughout a single season.
