North Dakota State’s women’s basketball team earned a big win over South Dakota yesterday in Vermillion, taking down the Coyotes 72-53. The Bison were led by Abbie Draper, who dropped 29 points and hit 12-of-16 shots from the field. The senior forward also snatched a team high 12 rebounds.

USD then missed an open 3-pointer and a difficult – but makeable – layup in the final minute of the third that could’ve cut their deficit to just three heading into the fourth. Instead, they still trailed by eight.
