Ohio brothers Joseph and Joshua Lopez, who claimed they were scammed and drugged, will each serve a month in a Dubai jail for alcohol consumption, a law strictly enforced in the UAE.

The Lopez brothers have not been officially charged but are facing charges of assaulting an officer, resisting arrest, damaging a patrol vehicle, and alcohol consumption.

The Lopez brothers were arrested and held at a police station from June 3 to June 12, per the organization, which said they were given bail and a travel ban.
