The Detroit Lions are starting to build their 90-roster for the offseason by keeping some homegrown talent in Allen Park.

The Lions announced 11 players were signed to futures contracts Monday. The following players were given such contracts: Futures contracts are given to players not on a team’s active roster. They are typically for the minimum amount and are given to players fighting for a roster spot in training camp.

The Detroit Lions have wasted no time in preparing their roster for the 2025 season. They’ve already signed 11 of their former practice squad players to futures deals, as well as signing defensive back Morice Norris back for another year.

The Lions have added another name to the growing list of players signed to reserve/future contracts now that the season has ended. Former San Francisco 49ers wideout Ronnie Bell agreed to sign with the Lions.
