By Richard Cowan WASHINGTON (Reuters) -Democrat Hakeem Jeffries could be poised to wield more power than a minority leader typically enjoys in the U.S. House of Representatives, with President-elect Donald Trump's fractious Republicans holding a thin majority.

All 215 House Democrats were expected to vote for Jeffries on Friday, U.S. Rep. Katherine Clark, D-5th District, the minority whip, told MSNBC ahead of the vote.
