Fernandez refused to pull the plug, and his team left it all on the court. The Nets rolled to a 104-84 win, improved to 15-33 this season and snapped a seven-game losing streak in the process. It was Brooklyn’s first victory since it defeated the Portland Trail Blazers on the road on Jan. 14.

The Nets beat the Hornets 104-83 in a game that was a wire-to-wire win for a Brooklyn that hadn't done much winning due to the amount of injuries they have been trying to overcome along with inconsistency in closing games.

The Brooklyn Nets' January finale couldn't have gone any better. They ended a seven-game losing streak, earning a win for the first time in over two weeks. Their 104-83 victory over the Charlotte Hornets was just the second double-digit success since late November and the largest margin of victory since February of last year.
