Robert Downey Jr. returns to the MCU with other confirmed actors including stars Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston, 'X-Men' stars like Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen, and a good chunk from the studio's 'Thunderbolts.

Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, Anthony Mackie’s Captain America, Sebastian Stan’s Bucky Barnes, Tom Hiddleston's Loki and Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man are all back in the “Avengers” ensemble.

With the promise of an all-star cast led by Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom and Infinity War and Endgame’s creative team back in action, the fifth Avengers movie could bring back much of the franchise’s lost spark.
