A Noxubee County native was among those aboard a Black Hawk helicopter that collided with a regional jet Wednesday in Washington, D.C., reports say.

One of the Black Hawk helicopter pilots killed in the collision with an American Airlines jet is a Mississippi native, according to his wife.

One of the pilots killed when an American Airlines flight collided with a U.S. Army Black Hawk in Washington, D.C. has been identified as a Georgia man. Sam Lilley was serving as First Officer on the flight before it crashed into the Potomac River.
