It will be a while before Miami Heat forward Nikola Jovic returns to the lineup. On Tuesday, the team gave an update on his injury status after he sustained a recent injury. He is expected to miss at least a month because of a hand fracture.

Jovic won't require surgery to repair the fractured second metacarpal on his right hand, but his status for the rest of the season remains in question, Barry Jackson and Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald report.
