Fonda's acceptance of the Life Achievement Award spotlights her role not only as a legendary actress but also as a powerful voice for social change. Throughout her career, she has used her platform to advocate for climate change awareness, human rights, and, more recently, resistance against political forces she views as harmful.
Actress Jane Fonda accepted the SAG Lifetime Achievement Award. The 87-year-old persevered over some audio issues and encouraged the importance of activism. She shared her passion for the craft of acting and highlighted her views surrounding the importance of “creating empathy.”
