In an appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show" on Friday, Belichick was asked about his recruiting pitch to recruits as he pieces together his first class with the Tar Heels.
Belichick will also make $750,000 if UNC reaches the College Football Playoff, as well as other potential bonuses, including for academics.
Belichick gets four tickets and up to 10 additional tickets for all football games (including postseason games). Belichick also gets four tickets to all home sporting events for other sports and each other assistant coach and staff member can be provided with tickets for family members (up to four per family).
Belichick’s base salary is $1 million annually, paid monthly. On top of that, he’ll rake in a supplemental income of $9 million each year for promotional and media duties. These include appearances at events sponsored by UNC’s advertisers and donors, press conferences, and other special engagements.
