The Seattle Kraken already faced an uphill battle based on where they sit in the standings, and the hill they need to climb just got steeper.

The Buffalo Sabres host the Seattle Kraken after Jack Quinn's two-goal game against the Ottawa Senators in the Sabres' 4-0 win.

The Winnipeg Jets have really started to cook on this season-long eight-game homestand, going 3-0-1 after a midding 0-1-1 start. They’ll try to keep the good times rolling on Thursday night as they host a Seattle Kraken team that has spent the past week in enemy territory, going 2-2-0 so far on a five-game trip that is about to come to an end.

The game at KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York begins at 1 p.m. PT. It will be broadcast on KONG. KONG is available for streaming through Fubo, in addition to antenna, cable and satellite. The game will also be broadcast across the Kraken Hockey Network. Pregame coverage begins at 12:30 p.m.

The Buffalo Sabres (16-21-5) defeated the Ottawa Senators (19-18-3) by a core of 4-0. With two goals from Jack Quinn and three points from Ryan McLeod, the Sabres had their offense showing up, and Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen stopped all 35 shots for his sixth career shutout and second of the season.

The Seattle Kraken have lost four consecutive games and are hoping to change their fortune with a win on the road against the Buffalo Sabres.
