Stankoven’s first goal came just 10 seconds after the Stars ended a four-minute power play that defenseman Brendan Smith drew on a high stick to the face. Stankoven scored on a rebound, notching his first goal in six games. His second extended Dallas’ lead to 5-2 early in the third period, also on a rebound.
