Stephen Curry suffered a pelvic contusion, but an MRI showed no structural damage from a nasty fall Thursday night against the Raptors, the Golden State Warriors announced Friday. Curry is not traveling with the team to Atlanta for a game against the Hawks on Saturday, and he will be re-evaluated on Monday.
Steph Curry left Thursday’s Warriors game against the Raptors after taking a hard fall driving down the paint. Curry, 37, suffered a pelvic contusion after the sequence in the third quarter that sent the Golden State star falling on his tailbone during a 117-114 win at Chase Center.
Curry is wearing extra padding for tailbone protection and said he can still feel the soreness, but he can play.
After missing two games with a pelvic contusion, the All-Star point guard is expected to return on Friday against the Pelicans.
