Europe’s human rights court found Moscow responsible for the 2014 downing of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 and abuses including transferring Ukrainian children to Russia.

Europe's top human rights court ruled unanimously on Wednesday that Russia was responsible for the downing of Malaysian Airlines flight MH17 in 2014 and also that Moscow had repeatedly and systematically violated human rights in Ukraine.

Europe’s top human rights court delivered damning judgments against Russia in four cases brought by Kyiv and the Netherlands accusing Moscow of atrocities in Ukraine dating back more than a decade.
