Ridley Scott is reviving his “Gladiator” franchise after 24 years with the upcoming “Gladiator 2,” and it sounds like that’s not going to be the end of the road for his epic story. Speaking to France’s Premiere magazine,

“I’d rather get on into Gladiator III ,” Scott told The Hollywood Reporter Thursday when asked about a different potential next project for the 86-year-old filmmaker. “There’s already an idea.” He added that he’s taking inspiration from The Godfather Part II for the next story.
