On the heels of his new country album Look Up, the former Beatles drummer will play the Nashville institution in February

Ringo Starr’s newest album, 'Look Up', is his first country record since 'Beaucops', as well as his first full-length release since 2019.

Though the Beatles are best known as titans of the rock and pop worlds, the group has always had some country ties. Starr put out his first country album back in 1970, called Beaucoups of Blues, and he's continued to embrace the genre and its artists in the decades since.

The country music renaissance continues with Ringo Starr, who recently released a country record Look Up, produced and co-written by T Bone Burnett. In honor of the occasion, they’re putting on Ringo & Friends At The Ryman,

Tuesday night in Nashville, Emmylou Harris invited famed Beatles drummer Ringo Starr to make his Grand Ole Opry debut in February.

"I'd love to," said Ringo Starr when asked to make his Grand Ole Opry debut. "It's an honor and a pleasure. Thank you."
