President Donald Trump may have delayed most – though not all – of the tariffs he had imposed on Canada and Mexico, but that hasn’t stopped America’s northern neighbors from responding forcefully in retaliation.

Ontario, Canada's most populous province, has enacted a 25% tariff on electricity that it exports to the U.S. in response to President Donald Trump's tariffs on Canadian goods.

"Republicans, at least the ones I speak to, do not agree with President Trump, but they are too scared to go out there and say it publicly," Ontario Premier Doug Ford said Monday in Toronto. "It's a shame but we need to end this.
