A three judge panel has overturned a lower court's decision that let Ohio ban transgender minors from accessing hormones and puberty blockers.

An Ohio appeals court on Tuesday blocked the state from enforcing a law banning the use of puberty-blocking drugs and hormones for gender transition in minors, finding it violated parents' rights to decide their children's medical treatment.

The three-judge panel overturned a decision by a Franklin County judge that allowed the law to take effect last year.
