Lindsay Clancy is due to stand trial on Jan. 5, 2026 — nearly three years after she allegedly killed her children.

Prosecutors say Clancy used exercise bands to strangle her kids before jumping out of a window in a suicide attempt.

The trial of Lindsay Clancy, the former labor and delivery nurse who allegedly murdered her three young children in the family’s Duxbury home in January 2023, is now slated to begin in early 2026, according to legal filings.

A judge overseeing Lindsay Clancy ’s case allowed a motion by prosecutors to delay the start of her trial from Dec. 1, 2025 to Jan. 5, 2026, court records show. The request to delay the trial was made so the case was not suspended around the holidays, allowing for “cohesiveness and judicial economy,” prosecutors wrote.

Clancy is accused of strangling her three young children with exercise bands before jumping out of a window of the family's home in 2023.
