Having attention deficit hyperactivity disorder is associated with a shorter life expectancy and a greater risk of mental health issues, a new study has found.

On average, women diagnosed with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder died almost nine years earlier, while men died almost seven years earlier, the U.K. study found.
