The text message arrived on Aaron Judge’s phone from a random number this offseason. It claimed to be from Juan Soto, but Judge figured someone might be messing with him. Just in case, he shot Soto a message via social media asking if it was really him, and the newest Met confirmed that it was, so the two began texting.

Expect the same stoic Juan Soto when he emerges in front of Judge's chambers in right field as a member of the Mets on Friday at Yankee Stadium.
