Giants preseason Week 2 vs. Jets
Digest more
Jaxson Dart shined in his preseason home debut for the New York Giants as they beat the Jets 31-12. Dart got time with the first-team offense, at one point completed 13 consecutive passes and threw for a touchdown and ran for another.
It would have been less obvious who the Jets plan to be on offense if Tanner Engstrand just shared snapshots from his playbook on the video board.
Dart will have one more chance to put some preseason tape on the field before the regular season begins. The Giants will take on the Patriots next Thursday night from MetLife at 8:00 p.m. EST. Justin Fields and the New York Jets' passing offense struggled against the Giants. Fields, who signed a two-year, $40 million deal to replace Aaron Rodgers, completed just one of five passes for 4 yards in the Jets' 31-12 preseason loss Saturday night.
Wilson showed off his patented moon ball with his first pass Saturday. A deep bomb to Beaux Collins in stride for an 80-yard pass with Collins tackled at the Jets’ 1-yard line. Two plays later, Devin Singletary scored on a 1-yard rush to complete a 93-yard drive.
