India's HDFC Bank on Wednesday reported third-quarter profit largely in-line with analysts' estimates, helped by an increase in net interest income (NII). The country's biggest private lender posted a standalone net profit of 167.

HDFC Banks recent financial results have drawn significant interest. The bank reported a net profit of ₹16,736 crore for the October to December quarter, marking a 2% increase from ₹16,372 crore in the same period last year.

Total expenses rose 19.90 per cent at Rs 4,634.5 crore as compared to Rs 3,865.06 crore in the year-ago period

(Reuters) -Consumer firm Hindustan Unilever said it will buy a majority stake in the 'Minimalist' skin care brand and reported a marginal rise in third-quarter profit on Wednesday, lifted by festive season demand and an ongoing recovery in rural markets.

The company’s revenue from operations stood at Rs 5,226 crore in Q3 FY25. It saw a strong rise from the Rs 4,340.4 crore revenue reported in Q3 FY24.

Revenue decreased by 4.99% YoY & profit decreased by 18.01% YoY, profit at ₹6.19 crore and revenue at ₹45.84 crore.

Indian consumer firm Hindustan Unilever reported a marginal rise in third-quarter profit on Wednesday, lifted by festive season demand and an ongoing recovery in rural markets.

Consolidated revenue from operations stood at Rs 940.81 crore in the third quarter as compared to Rs 1,113.06 crore in the year-ago period, the company said in a regulatory filing.

The bank saw both net profit and income on interest drop year-on-year during the third quarter of the financial year 2024-25.
