Jasmine Mooney, who appeared in the American Pie movie franchise, said she was held in chains and had to sleep on a mat at the San Luis Detention Center in Arizona following her arrest while trying to cross the United States-Mexico border as she tried to renew her documentation.

Mooney's father, Stephen Mooney, said in an interview with CBC Radio that he expected his daughter will be brought to a detention center in Tijuana, Mexico, and released. He's expecting her to fly back to Vancouver, British Columbia, on Friday evening.
