Hours after announcing the approval of Skydance’s merger with Paramount, FCC Chairman Brendan Carr touted the company’s commitment to “addressing bias & restoring fact-based reporting” at CBS News, among other things.

Look at what is happening. NPR has been defunded, PBS has been defunded, Colbert is getting canceled,’ Brendan Carr declared when asked if Trump played a role in The Late Show coming to an end.
On Wednesday’s The View, Behar talked of Trump’s claim that his predecessor, Barack Obama, was guilty of treason, accusing his team of cooking the intelligence as a pretext for the Russian interference investigation in 2026. Through a spokesman, Obama called such claims “bizarre” and a “weak attempt at a distraction.”
Brendan Carr told Fox News that networks will "run into issues like [Stephen] Colbert" if they don't check bias and continue to "run a partisan circus."
