Warren “Red” Upton, the 105-year-old World War II US veteran who was the oldest living survivor of the 1941 Japanese surprise bombing of Pearl Harbor, died on Christmas Day, according to Sons and Daughters of Pearl Harbor Survivors, a veteran’s organization.

Two teenagers died in separate crashes in Nebraska on Christmas Day, one in a rollover in rural Buffalo County and the other in a two-vehicle crash in Grand Island.

The Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office has identified the 17-year-old old boy who died in a single-vehicle crash south of Pleasanton Wednesday night. According to the sheriff’s office, Gavin Reisbeck lost control of his Ford F-150 while driving on a gravel road.
