Western Michigan football’s offensive line just bulked up. The Broncos announced the addition of former Illinois offensive lineman Hunter Whitenack through the NCAA transfer portal –– the fourth offensive lineman to land with WMU football in the winter portal.

The transfer portal is supposedly closed for teams not in the national championship game, but don’t tell many out there in college football. That’s because many are still entering, and apparently Michigan football isn’t immune.

It was recently reported that Michigan football and Nebraska were leading in the recruitment of former New Mexico State offensive lineman Shiyazh Pete. But there has since been a big turn of events. According to On3's Pete Nakos,
