The Denver Broncos beat up on the Kansas City Chiefs’ backups in Week 18 to clinch the final Wild Card berth. The Broncos’ efforts to reach the postseason will be rewarded with a trip to Buffalo to take on the 13-4 Bills in the first round.

It’s all love between Von Miller and the Broncos. In preparation to face his former team in the Wild Card round on Sunday, Buffalo’s veteran edge rusher doesn’t want to act like he has hatred toward Denver. The franchise still holds a special place in his heart.

The last time the Denver Broncos played in a playoff game, Von Miller took home Super Bowl MVP honors after totaling 2.5 sacks and forcing two fumbles in a 24-10 win over the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50. Nine years later, the Broncos have now returned to the postseason and they are set to play against the Buffalo Bills — and Von Miller.

The "Full Circle" caption is fitting, since Miller played in Denver for the first 10 years of his career, winning a Super Bowl in 2015 and being named the Super Bowl MVP. During that time, Miller was a three-time First-Team All-Pro, a four-time Second-Team All-Pro, and made it to eight Pro Bowls.

Broncos GM George Paton ripped John Elway’s Band-Aid off, trading Miller to the Rams in November 2021 for two draft picks. The Vonster won another ring a few months later in La La Land, then parlayed that into a six-year deal in Buffalo worth $20 million annually.
