A winter weather storm remains in effect for much of Oklahoma through Friday after Thursday's storm brought heavy snowfall totals across the state.

The heaviest snow will fall in southeast Oklahoma, but much of the state will see at least some snow accumulation.

This system will start initially as snowfall Friday afternoon and evening; however, freezing rain and sleet will mix in with the snow Friday night due to warmer air in the upper levels of the atmosphere.
