The upcoming 56th season will see the return of beloved segments as well as reimagined format changes, as it moves from Max to Netflix

"Sesame Street" is finding a new home as it changes hands from HBO to Netflix, where new and old episodes will stream. PBS will also air new episodes.

New "Sesame Street" episodes will continue to be available on the same day on PBS and PBS Kids app in the U.S., according to the deal. Netflix also gains rights to develop video games for both “Sesame Street” and “Sesame Street Mecha Builders.”
